Victor Reyes was born in 1978 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised for part of his life in Orange County, Ca., and it was there that he started his signature graffiti murals. In 1998 Victor moved to San Francisco where he created a series of graffiti-murals on the side of buildings primarily in the Mission District which were a reflection of the energy and vibrance of the wayward youth of California. Recent solo exhibits include ʻMisspelledʼ an Alphabet by Victor Reyes and a 104-page book released at Robert Berman E6 Gallery in San Francisco July, 2010 and ʻWarpaintʼ Los Angeles Sept. 2011. Reyes signature style- ʻRevolution Paintingʼ; Composed of stirring imagery, bold patterns and bright colors that radiate with aggressive beauty, they have a natural rhythm unique to the street artist culture. Reyes work has been commissioned by Louis Vuitton, Twitter and Nike, Ford and Google and he has exhibited in Germany, Japan, Miami, New York and Los Angeles.
